Quality Management System TL 9000

Introduction:

TL 9000 was designed specifically for the telecommunications industry. It is based around ISO 9001 and was developed by the Quality Excellence for Suppliers of Telecommunications (QuEST) Leadership Forum in response to product and service failures within the industry. TL 9000 is only relevant to those organizations currently engaged in work within the telecommunications industry and who want to implement a certified management system with international recognition. Globalization of the telecommunications industry is driving the need to apply a common set of quality requirements throughout the supply chain

Module 1: General Awareness Training 2 Days

To provide overview of requirements of the TL 9000. Focus will be on following:-

  • History of TL 9000

  • ISO 9001 QMS Model

  • Exposure to 8 Quality management Principles

  • Exposure to different categories of Process

  • Effectiveness and efficiency of the process

  • Overview of TL9000 Requirements as per R5.0 Version

  • Over view of TL9000 Measurements as per R4.5 Version

  • understanding regarding counting rules and exclusion rules for collection and validation of TL9000 Measurements (R4.5) including how to find out the relevant Product Category, how to find out the Applicable Measurements,

  • How to Register on Quest Forum Website, and Upload Measurement data on Quest Forum Website.

  • Requirements of Certification

Make participants to understand the importance of TL 9000 Requirements (R5.0) and measurement requirements (R4.5)

Module 2: Documentation and Implementation Training 5 Days

To provide in depth knowledge on requirements of the TL 9000 Requirements (R5.0) and measurement (R4.5). Focus will be

on following:-

  • History of TL 9000

  • ISO 9001 QMS Model

  • Exposure to 8 Quality management Principles

  • Exposure to different categories of Process

  • Effectiveness and efficiency of the process

  • Exposure to Turtle concept and octopus model for defining the process

  • Exposure to BMS Control Plan

  • Understanding of TL9000 Requirements as per R5.0 Version

  • Understanding of f TL9000 Measurements as per R4.5 Version

Module 3: Internal Auditor Training 4 Days

TL 9000 Internal Auditor course is design and offered to train pool of internal auditors in Telecom Domain, be it Hardware, Software or Services, and aims to build their knowledge of TL9000 and to enable them to evaluate the compliance and effectiveness of the quality management system in their organization.

The primary objective of this training course is to instruct Telecommunications auditors in the principles and practices specific to auditing for conformance with TL 9000 requirements (R5.0) and measurements (R4.5) , including planning and preparation of the audit, audit practices, and reporting audit findings. To improve the audit skills of Internal Auditor in order to conduct effective internal audits and Value added audits in the organization.
